Updates on Giovanni and Rachael Criscione's life and travels! Like all great travellers, I have seen more than I remember, and remember more than I have seen. ~Benjamin Disraeli

searching for family
This past weekend Giovanni and I headed to a little town above Venice called Vittorio Veneto. He sometimes does contract genealogy work. It was a really great experience to be able to work along side Gio in this special endeavor. The local priest was very kind and left us for hours working and searching out the records of the church. We were able to get a lot done (there is still much to do)! Here are a few pictures of the records and a little bit of what we saw in the daylight. The hotel we stayed had bikes for the guests to use, what a great idea this was! It was so much faster getting around not to mention the fun we had! P.S. stay tuned for my turn at a few tags

Wow, sounds like you had a great time! BTW, I know of a way that you can contact Brian. I don't have a number or anything, but his brother Michael has a blog..check my blog for the link. Him and his wife's names are Michael and Kristen. If you leave a message for them to let Brian know about your blog, then I'm sure you would be in contact with Brian again.
wow! that looks like crazy fun! that must have been super cool to do all that geneology so easily... well, easy in the sense that there are a lot of resources
I tag you Rachael!
You guys get to have so much fun! How cool to work with the raw materials of genealogy. This made me want to go on a bike ride.
