Ode to Natalie

Nat and KD last November

My sweet friend, how I will miss you living in the boot.
We had such great times together, market shopping, eating gelato, visiting new places, complaining about Italian things, meals together, laughing, driving, the language, pregnancy, mood swings, crying on each others shoulders, phone calls, text mssgs, dreaming about new places to live, book sharing and HUGS!
Move on to better things, but know you are loved by me!
Ciao Bella!!!
G-ster kissing Lottie bye, bye

Yesterday I went to say goodbye to Natalie, my friend Michelle and I met and went together. While turning up through "the forest" as I call it a short distance from Nat's house we saw 2 prostitutes and a truck stopped a little farther down the road where there were 2 more- I had to stop behind him while he picked one up. Now this is fairly common around this country. I learned from Gio that prostitution is LEGAL- but being a Pimp is illegal- also if you are caught picking one up there is a fine. ITALIANS!!!
Well, Nicole, Nat's sister had not had the chance to see a Live prostitute yet; so Nat, Nicole, Michelle and I all jumped in the car and went down the road to show her. We ended up driving by a few times and all laughing so hard! we snapped a quick picture while Nat yelled "Say Cheese"!

That will be a night I will never forget!!! I haven't laughed that hard in a long time, I thought for sure we were all going to pee our pants when Nat yelled "Say Cheese" I am going to miss her so much. I am sad we didn't hang out more but we have a whole life time ahead of us and who knows maybe us 3 will all end up in some other place together! Talk to ya soon!

Remember the sister missionarie's house in Torino, the prostitutes would stand right on the corner of the street in front of us against the wall. Sister la rocca and i would always pray for them at night.

Oh, I'm so sorry you will be living so far apart now! You will have to tell Natalie to give us a ring when she gets in town so we can hang out.

Heck yeah! I've already got the okay from Mother Teresa to be a part of the family!! LOL
Rachie, oh Rachie! My Sweet sista! You are so darn amazing and you know I will miss the dickens out of you. I wish I had a tenth of your talents. I'm going to try and develop some of them (time to buy a sewing machine).
Thanks for the sweet letter. You always make me feel so special.
That was one of the funnest nights every. I have to agree with Michelle (I can't remember the last time I laughed so hard).
They sure were camera shy ey??
I can't wait to see you in January and you'll always be on my top 10 list!
