for your viewing pleasure

I asked a friend who studied photography here in Italy to come and take a few pictures of us as a family before our next addition. I wanted to capture my GROWING belly and Charlotte as well. These are a few shots I have seen so far. I am happy with how they came out! Looking forward to seeing the rest!
We are getting closer to the "due date", March 10 and counting down to Saturday when my parents arrive!!!

Enjoying Sicily at Christmas time

Posted by Picasa

I know I am behind on blogging about our time in Sicily over the holidays, but really I am in "nesting" mode and trying to figure out just how we are going to add another little body into our 1 bedroom apartment! However, I wanted to share with you a few pictures from our trip. We had a good time and really enjoyed the warm weather in Cefalu' and Palermo!
More to come about baby preparation..... stay tuned!

Charlotte turns DUE!

I have wanted to share our Sicily photos and Lottie's 2nd birthday with you all, but time is just running from me and I don't often feel that I can catch up! In any case here are a few from the birthday celebration.
We were actually in Palermo for her bday, Gio was working on a genealogy job most of the day. The little one and I spent a few hours at the park before meeting up with Gio for lunch and then again for dinner. When we were home in Milan a few days later we invited our friend and Lbug's FAVORITE sitter, Amanda, over to help us eat some pizza and cupcakes in her honor!

(photos of recent research, a church where some research was done, and a family tomb)
As many of you know Giovanni has quite a passion for the past, researching his own as well as helping others to find out about their family roots. From the start of our marriage I suggested that we find a way to create a website for as a way for more people to find out about his services. With the help of some friends we have FINALLY got something fantastic to show the world. If you yourself are would like help or if you know of anyone that may need someone like Gio please check out his site and let us know what you think!

I forgot...

I know that months ago when I went public on the web with the news of our little #2 I had mentioned that we were going to be surprised on the birthday of our little one; however, a little while ago Giovanni talked me into opening the envelope that held the answer to the BIG Question! We are happy to share with your the exciting news that we will be welcoming a "little brother" as we are now calling him in about 2 months! (P.S. these images are from just before Christmas)
